From the 1980s all the way through to the 2020s, the Illinois High School Association track and field record book is filled with performances spanning nearly a half century.
Here is a look at the state records for boys and girls Illinois state track and field, heading into the 2025 finals set for late May in Charleston, Illinois. The complete record book can be found at ihsa.org.
Records are split by event, with boys and girls performances, athlete, school and date of record.
