The Indy-area high school football power rankings going into Week 4 of the season:
Class 6A
1. Brownsburg (3-0): The Bulldogs continue to dominate. A 35-7 win over Franklin Central was not even that close after Brownsburg built a 35-point running clock lead by halftime. Of Oscar Frye’s seven completions, four went for touchdowns. Up next is likely a tougher matchup at rival Avon. Previous: 1.
2. Center Grove (3-0): The Trojans cruised to a 55-0 running clock win over Marion. Center Grove averaged 9 yards per carry and Oscar Sloan was 10-for-11 passing for 157 yards and two scores. The Trojans will honor their 2015 state championship team this week when Ben Davis visits. Previous: 2.
3. Carmel (3-0): The Greyhounds smashed Centerville (Ohio), 48-0 as Anthony Coellner went 15-for-18 passing for 215 yards and three TDs, including five completions to Jake Bellin for 125 yards and one TD. Maybe the toughest game to date for Carmel this week at Louisville Trinity. Previous: 3.
4. Hamilton Southeastern (3-0): The Royals did not exactly steamroll Avon, but did just enough to pull out a 17-14 win on a late field goal by Luke Marchionni. HSE only had 189 yards of total offense with 76 of those yards coming on a touchdown pass from Terry Walker III to Kendrick Pennybaker just before halftime. Up next is the Mudsock rivalry game at Fishers. Previous: 4.
5. Westfield (2-1): The Shamrocks were blanked in the first half by Zionsville but scored 20 points in the third quarter on the way to a 27-3 win. Deacon King ran for two touchdowns as Westfield ran for 219 yards and put up 392 yards of total offense. Up next: vs. Noblesville. Previous: 5.
6. Fishers (2-1): The Tigers have bounced back from the loss to Carmel with wins over Lawrence North and Noblesville, the latter a 42-17 running clock win on Friday. Vincent Rozzi caught nine passes for a school record 225 yards and two TDs from quarterback Gage Sturgill. A huge game this week at home vs. Mudsock rival Hamilton Southeastern. Previous: 7.
7. Lawrence North (2-1): The Wildcats were tested by East Central’s run-heavy offense and held up with a 32-7 victory. East Central finished with 275 rushing yards but it took 63 attempts to get there. Izayveon Moore had 205 rushing yards and two TDs on 15 carries and Monshun Sales caught four passes for 87 yards and one TD. Previous: 8.
8. Avon (2-1): Jace Cameron passed for 227 yards and the Orioles were in position to drive for the winning score late in the fourth quarter but a special teams turnover led to a Hamilton Southeastern field goal and 17-14 Avon loss. The Orioles will have to turn the page quickly with Brownsburg visiting on Friday. Previous: 6.
9. Warren Central (2-1): Warren Central had no trouble with North Central, scoring 35 points in the first quarter on the way to a 49-7 win. Keyon Thomas ran for 109 yards and two TDs on 11 carries and Zechariah Wallace caught two TDs passes. Up next: at Lawrence Central. Previous: 9.
10. Lawrence Central (2-1): The Bears rolled to a 61-21 win over Edwardsville, Ill., as Santana Allen went 20-for-25 passing for 287 yards and six TDs (and ran for 82 yards) and Albert Gooden III ran for 112 yards and two TDs on 25 carries. A good test this week vs. Warren Central. Previous: NR.

Class 5A
1. New Palestine (3-0): The Dragons rolled to a 35-10 win over Yorktown behind Jacob Davis’ 12-for-19 passing for 233 yards and two TDs and 83 rushing yards and two TDs. Landon Maddox caught five passes for 114 yards and one TD. Up next: vs. Mt. Vernon. Previous: 1.
2.Cathedral (1-2): The Irish got two field goals from Eastern Michigan commit Van Krisiloff (25 and 46 yards) but it was not nearly enough in a 24-6 loss to Cincinnati St. Xavier. The offense did produce 199 rushing yards, including a 101-yard game from Xavier Dangerfield. Up next: vs. Bishop Chatard at Butler. Previous: 2.
3. Plainfield (3-0): The Quakers rolled to a 35-14 win over Mooresville in the Mid-State Conference opener as Bryce Sebanc was 21-for-35 passing for 236 yards and four TDs. All four TD catches were by Zander Nattam, who caught nine balls for 140 yards. Up next: vs. Perry Meridian. Previous: 3.

Class 4A
1.Bishop Chatard (3-0): The Trojans had no trouble with Roncalli after a slow start, rolling to a 33-11 win as Danny Adams ran for 164 yards and two TDs. A big test this week vs. Cathedral at Butler. Previous: 1.
2.Roncalli (1-2): The Royals were able to move the ball some against Chatard in a 33-11 loss as Zach Dozier ran for 74 yards and Collin Ash had 71 yards on the ground and 93 through the air. Up next is another tough game vs. 3-0 Columbus North. Previous: 2.
3.Pendleton Heights (3-0): The Arabians have shut out Guerin Catholic (34-0) and New Castle (35-0) in back-to-back weeks. Sophomore Joel Weaver ran for 106 yards and one TD on 19 carries in the win over New Castle. Up next: vs. Greenfield-Central. Previous: 3.

Class 3A
1.Cascade (3-0): The Cadets dominated North Putnam 42-6 in a game that was played with a running clock in the second half. Brady Trebley was 9-for-14 passing for 160 yards and three TDs. Up next: vs. North Montgomery. Previous: 1.
2. Tri-West (2-1): The Bruins lost 17-14 to Triton Central on a field goal in the final seconds. Abe Haste had 13 tackles for the Tri-West defense. Up next: at Speedway. Previous: 2.
3. Indian Creek (3-0): The Braves rolled to a 52-28 running clock victory over Covenant Christian as Drew Pingleton ran for three touchdowns in the first half on the way to a 45-point halftime lead. Up next is a big game vs. Beech Grove. Previous: 3.

Class 2A/A
1. Lapel (3-0): The Bulldogs rise to the top here after a 28-12 win over Shenandoah. Jack Miller had 149 rushing yards and one TD on 26 carries and Isaiah Young had 14 tackles to lead the defense. Up next: at Muncie Central. Previous: 2.
2. Triton Central (3-0): The Tigers earned a tough victory over Tri-West on a 19-yard field goal by Nick Tormoehlen in the waning seconds. Braden Brown ran for 197 yards and two TDs on 26 carries. The Tigers play at Monrovia on Friday. Previous: 3.
3. Lutheran (2-1): The Saints were unable to slow down the Western running game, which accounted for 493 yards rushing in a 46-14 win over Lutheran. Senior Matthew McKitrick ran for 290 yards and three TD for Western. Up next: vs. Scecina. Previous: 1.
