Jazz Chisholm Jr. is generating plenty of headlines.
He's entering the last year of his contract with the New York Yankees, and he's not shy about sharing his thoughts. The latest feelings didn't even have to do with the Yanks, though, but rather the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Essentially, Chisholm was asked if he'd sign with the Dodgers if he reached free agency.
His response?
"I'd go to the Angels before I'd go to the Dodgers. I'd want to go and win by myself. I'd rather build my roof than go to the Dodgers.”
Dodgers fans probably won't become immediate fans of Chisholm after that.
Other baseball people likely understand what he's saying, though. The Dodgers are already loaded. It'd be more of an accomplishment to upend them.

In fact, some speculated this offseason that the reason Kyle Tucker signed with the Dodgers was exactly that reason -- he wouldn't have to carry the whole load or even be too heavily in the spotlight.
Chisholm definitely doesn't mind the spotlight, though.
The annual 30-30 threat may warrant a contract extension from the Yankees, or he could get traded, or he could land a big new deal next offseason.
Just don't count on him going to the Dodgers. He wants nothing to do with L.A. blue.
