Jeremiyah Love, Leonard Moore, Aamil Wagner & Drayk Bowen make Athlon Sports All-American
Star power is something that Notre Dame football is accustomed to, and there isn’t a lack of that for the 2025 season as Athlon Sports has four Irish players on its Preseason All-American Team’s.
Two made the first-team in running back Jeremiyah Love and cornerback Leonard Moore, which shouldn’t surprise anyone. The pair lead their sides of Notre Dame’s team and are known commodities. Big things are expected from both of them this fall.
Offensive tackle Aamil Wagner made Athlon’s second-team, as the senior enters the year as one of the unquestioned starters. After getting reserve run during his sophomore season, Wagner took hold of his spot and started every game this past year.
Linebacker Drayk Bowen placed on the third-team, as the hype surrounding the junior has gotten bigger. He played a huge role on defense in 2024, making a huge jump from his first-season making 78 tackles with a sack and three forced fumbles.
Notre Dame again has a roster that should complete for a spot in the College Football playoff, as they’ll look to replicate their run to the championship game, but hopefully with a better result.
