Joe Burrow says he's relied on Odell Beckham Jr, Tom Brady, Kevin Durant to handle fame
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow said he's looked to NFL receiver and fellow former LSU Tigers standout Odell Beckham Jr., NBA superstar Kevin Durant and NFL broadcaster and former star quarterback Tom Brady for advice and guidance when it comes to navigating fame.
Burrow discussed the pros and cons of being famous among other topics during an interview with NFL Network's Kyle Brandt.
In 2020, Burrow said Beckham gave out real money to players on the field at the Superdome after LSU's national championship win.
In 2022, Brady, who starred at Michigan, took a shot at the Buckeyes after praising Burrow on a podcast. Burrow said in 2020 that he didn't want to be compared to Brady.
In 2023, Durant and Devin Booker sat in Burrow's suite for the Bengals' home opener against Baltimore, the same year Burrow, Booker and Durant all attended billionaire Michael Rubin's Fourth of July "White Party" in the Hamptons.
