Joe Milton III starts for Cowboys against Baltimore
Three former Tennessee quarterbacks competed in NFL preseason Week 2 on Saturday.
Baltimore defeated Dallas, 31-13, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Joe Milton III started for the Cowboys. He completed 9-of-18 passing attempts for 122 yards and one touchdown. Milton III also totaled six rushing yards on three attempts.
The former Vol was selected No. 193 overall by New England in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft. He was traded to Dallas for a fifth-round draft pick during the offseason.
New England defeated Minnesota, 20-12, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Joshua Dobbs started for the Patriots. He completed 11-of-16 passing attempts for 106 yards and one touchdown.
Dobbs was selected 135th overall by the Pittsburgh in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft. He also played for Jacksonville, Cleveland, Detroit, Tennessee, Arizona, Minnesota and San Francisco.
Miami defeated Detroit, 24-17, at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
Hendon Hooker completed 6-of-13 passing attempts for 61 yards and one interception. He also recorded one rushing yard on one attempt.
Hooker was selected by Detroit in the third round (No. 68 overall) of the 2023 NFL draft. He did not play for the Lions in 2023 due to injury.
