JT Sokolove knocks walk off home run to lead Spartan baseball past Ohio State

Michigan State baseball is in the middle of a massive Big Ten conference series against the Ohio State Buckeyes. On Friday, the Spartans used a massive hitting display to dominate OSU, but on Saturday, the host's needed theatrics to knock off the Buckeyes.

In a Saturday game with the Buckeyes, MSU and OSU were in a back and forth battle that nine innings were not enough to settle.

In the 11th inning, with the score tied 9-9, JT Sokolove stepped to the plate. Having been 1-for-5 on the contest to this point, the Spartan senior hit the game winning walk off home run. With one out in the inning, it was an opposite field bomb for Sokolove to give the Spartans the win.

Garrett Brewer got credited with the win for the Spartans, his first of the year.

Michigan State will look for the sweep against the Ohio State on Sunday when the teams play a game in the early afternoon.
