Kansas City Chiefs cut former Indiana Mr. Football

Will Carson Steele get another chance in the NFL?

The 2020 Indiana Mr. Football from Center Grove who also played at Ball State was waived August 26 by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Steele, who played his final college season at UCLA, made the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2024, carrying 56 times for 183 yards with 7 catches and 5 kickoff returns.

Kansas City could bring him back if he clears waivers.

The 22-year-old was once dubbed "the most interesting man in college football" and rushed for 5,907 yards and scoring 82 touchdowns for Center Grove.
