Kansas star freshman Darryn Peterson ruled out vs. Duke due to hamstring injury
If No. 24 Kansas is hoping to upset No. 5 Duke on Tuesday, the Jayhawks will need to pull off the feat without star freshman Darryn Peterson. The 18-year-old was ruled out for the contest, Kansas confirmed.
Coach Bill self said Tuesday that Peterson is making progress from his injured hamstring, but won't be re-evaluated until the end of the week.

Peterson has played in just two games this season due to the injury. He's shown off his five-star potential in those contests, averaging 21.5 points per game. Peterson missed the last two games due to the injury. If Peterson is able to clear all tests when he's re-evaluated, it's possible he'll be ready to go when the Jayhawks take on Notre Dame on Monday.
