Knicks' Jalen Brunson Sends Message to Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton After Injury During NBA Finals originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The final game of the 2024-25 NBA season is currently taking place in Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
It has been a tightly contested game thus far as both teams have been trading buckets led by their superstar players.
Unfortunately for the Pacers, disaster struck early as their star guard Tyrese Haliburton collapsed to the floor with a little less than five minutes remaining in the first quarter due to an apparent right leg injury.
Tyrese Haliburton had to be carried off the court after suffering an injury.
He had tears in his eyes as he was consoled by the Pacers' medical staff and was quickly surrounded by his teammates.

Haliburton was then carried off the court and into the locker room as he was unable to put any pressure on his right leg.
In the second quarter, the Pacers officially ruled Haliburton out for the rest of Sunday’s game due to a lower right leg injury.

After Haliburton suffered the injury, social media was filled with positive messages to the star guard and among other NBA players who sent one to him was New York Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson.
“Prayers up man,” Brunson posted on X in a message to Haliburton.

This is a massive blow to the Pacers and it is great to see other NBA players, even Eastern Conference rivals, showing their support for the superstar point guard.
Of course, the Pacers and Knicks faced off against each other in the Eastern Conference Finals with Indiana winning in six games but Brunson made sure to wish Haliburton well after his injury.
With Haliburton now out, the Pacers will need others to step up in his place if they want to pull out a victory in Game 7 and win their first NBA championship in franchise history.
