Lane Johnson participates in Eagles practice after exiting game vs. Rams with neck injury

The Eagles are nearly impossible to beat with Lane Johnson in the lineup, and Sunday's matchup with the Rams took a concerning turn when the All-Pro right tackle was forced to exit with an apparent neck injury.

Johnson was replaced by Matt Pryor late in the first quarter, and quarterback Jalen Hurts was immediately sacked on the following play, forcing an Eagles punt. Philadelphia was able to settle down offensively once Fred Johnson was inserted into the lineup. The team returned to the NovaCare Complex on Wednesday for the first practice of the week, and Johnson was able to participate in some capacity.

According to John Gonoude via PFF, Johnson has allowed zero sacks and zero QB hits in 62 pass-blocking snaps in 2025. Since 2021, Johnson ranks 1st among NFL tackles with a 0.4% knockdown percentage, allowing just three sacks and 4 QB hits over the last five seasons.

The Eagles have struggled to manage the Buccaneers' blitzing front seven in past matchups, and Johnson's availability is crucial to their success.
