Liverpool: Nagelsmann comes to the rescue of Florian Wirtz
Florian Wirtz, 22, has come under heavy criticism since his arrival at Liverpool. The German was transferred from Bayer Leverkusen for €100 million plus €16 million in bonuses this summer, after being named Bundesliga Player of the Season for two consecutive years.
Speaking to Sky Sports, German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Liverpool must also help Wirtz adapt:
The club could help him by converting some of the chances he creates. Sometimes, they don't even try to shoot.

According to Nagelsmann, the current situation at the club is making things tougher for Wirtz:
This year, Liverpool aren't as stable as they used to be. He needs time to adapt, like other players coming into the Premier League.
"The whole club (Liverpool) is not as stable this year" 🔴
