Look: Buccaneers unveil 50th anniversary uniforms and when we will see them

The wait is finally over, we have a visual on what the Bucs will look like in 2025 with the uniforms they first wore back in 1976.

The team teased the new uniforms, or retro ones, a few weeks ago on social media with the help of former Bucs quarterback Steve Spurrier. With the help of The Ole Ball Coach, the Bucs were finally able to debut them to the public on Tuesday with some special video packages and graphics. We also got to see them on the franchise's best players such as Mike Evans, Lavonte David, and Baker Mayfield.

Sadly, the team is only going to showcase them once in 2025.

The team announced that they will only wear them once, in Week 3, when they host the New York Jets in Tampa Bay. The team will also wear retro uniforms, featuring the much-loved creamsicle design, in Weeks 13 and 15 when they honor the 50th anniversary team and retire the number of Simeon Rice.

The Bucs are one of the few teams that embrace their history with their uniforms, and the fans couldn't be happier.
