Massive brawl leads to knocked-out ref, multiple ejections in South Alabama's win over Coastal Carolina
Tempers flared toward the end of South Alabama's win over Coastal Carolina on Wednesday. With a little over five minutes to play, a massive brawl broke out on the court, leading to a knocked-out ref and multiple ejections.
Tracey Hueston of Coastal Carolina and Cordasia Harris of South Alabama appeared to be at the center of the fight.

Hueston was ejected from the contest and seven South Alabama players were thrown out of the game. Harris, Daniela Gonzalez and Amyah Sutton were reportedly among the players ejected for South Alabama. All three players are not only starters on the team, but South Alabama's top-3 leading scorers this season.
Jeriyah Baines, Saneea Bevley, Terrin Coffil and Princess Ojafor Nwese all reportedly received ejections for leaving the bench during the fight, per Crag Stephenson of AL.com.
Ejections for fighting can carry a one-game suspension, so it's possible South Alabama could be facing major absences in the team's next game after beating Coastal Carolina by a score of 80-70 on Wednesday.
With the win, South Alabama advanced to the third round of the Sun Belt Championship. The team — or what's left of it — will take on Texas State on Thursday.
