Men's soccer: Second-ranked Warriors suffer first loss of season

GODFREY, ILL — The second-ranked Indian Hills men's soccer squad suffered its first defeat of the season, falling on the road to No. 17 Lewis & Clark Community College. The Warriors fall to 4-1-1 on the year.

The Blazers scored three first half goals to upend the Warriors, giving Indian Hills its first non-conference loss in 25 contests dating back to the 2023 season. Sophomore Joseph Redmond provided the Warriors' lone goal, a strike in the 79th minute on assists from Carlos Noboa and Diego Lazaro giving Redmond a goal in three consecutive matches.

Next up for the Warriors is a home match against Lincoln Trail College. Action kicks off on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
