Michigan State basketball analyst breaks down impact of Kaleb Glenn injury
Michigan State basketball got some tough injury news earlier this week, but one analyst isn't as doom and gloom as the rest of the fanbase about the Kaleb Glenn injury.
Earlier this week the news broke that Glenn -- who was a nice transfer portal addition for the Spartans this offseason -- was ruled out for the upcoming season with a torn patellar tendon injury. This was a disappointing development as Glenn was expected to play high-level minutes for the Spartans in a key reserve role this upcoming season.
As you could imagine, fans and media took to social media to share their thoughts on the injury news -- mostly disappointment over the news. That included David Klein -- also known as DK on social media -- of Spartans Illustrated, but he wasn't quite as heartbroken about the Glenn news.
While Klein acknowledged the negative impact Glenn's injury will have, he didn't consider a back-breaking type of loss. He added that the timing of the injury is a positive compared to an in-season injury, and will allow the coaching staff to start preparing for the season without him now.
