After a massive win against Boston College in Week 2, Michigan State football has one final tune-up opportunity against Youngstown State before Big Ten play.
MSU starts the season with three consecutive games at Spartan Stadium before traveling to USC in Week 4 for its first Big Ten matchup with the Trojans.
Before then, the Spartans will have to take care of business and get out as healthy as possible against a Youngstown State squad that competes at the FCS level.
The Penguins are led by coach Doug Phillips, who is in his sixth season at the helm. He was also the coach in 2021 when MSU beat YSU, 42-14.
Michigan State fans will get to enjoy their first non-night game of the season with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Big Ten Network.
