Michigan–Michigan State football rivalry set for fourth straight night game on NBC

It used to be unthinkable and unimaginable that Michigan football and rival MSU would play at night. They're two teams that do not like each other, and the fan bases do not exactly get along -- even though they share the same state.

However, in 2017, the two teams were matched up at night for the first time, and they've played the past three after sundown.

Make it four, apparently.

On the NBC broadcast of USC and Notre Dame, it was announced that the Wolverines and Spartans will kick off at 7:30 p.m. EDT next Saturday in East Lansing, with the game set to be broadcast on NBC and streamed on Peacock.

Michigan has won the last three against the Spartans, with two coming against former MSU head coach Mel Tucker, and the last one being Sherrone Moore's first win over Jonathan Smith.

The Wolverines will enter the game likely as a big favorite, with a 5-2 record, compared to the Spartans, who are winless in the Big Ten and are 3-4 after winning the first three games of the season.
