Missouri State women's basketball adds Houston Christian guard via transfer portal

Beth Cunningham has added an experienced guard to her backcourt ahead of the 2025-26 Missouri State women's basketball season.

The school announced that Houston Christian transfer Victoria Dixon has signed with the program. She has one season of eligibility remaining.

"We are excited to add Victoria to our Lady Bear family," Cunningham said in a release. "She not only brings experience, but also adds another ball-handling, play-making guard to our backcourt. Victoria also brings speed and quickness, and will impact us with her aggressive defensive mentality."

Dixon spent last year at HCU, where she averaged six points and 1.3 rebounds per game. As a junior, she appeared in 27 games and made three starts, shooting 37% from the field.

Before HCU, Dixon played her sophomore year at Alabama A&M, averaging 5.8 points and 1.7 rebounds. A native of Grand Prairie, Texas, she played her freshman season at Tyler (Texas) Junior College, averaging 14.2 points on 44% shooting.

Dixon is the third transfer to commit to the Lady Bears this offseason, joining Zoe Canfield (Kansas) and Faith Lee (Little Rock). The roster now stands at 13 players.
