MSU football extends offer to Illinois TE prospect
Michigan State football is the first power four school to extend an offer to an under-the-radar tight end prospect from Illinois.
Charlie Fowler of Wilmette, Ill. announced on Monday night that he's received an offer from Michigan State. Fowler made the offer from Michigan State known by posting on his social media X account. Michigan State tight ends coach Brian Wozniak was the Spartans staffer that extended Fowler the offer.
Fowler is currently an unranked prospect on 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-6 and 220 pounds, and plays for Loyola Academy.
According to 247Sports, Michigan State is the first power four school to extend an offer to Fowler. He also holds offers from Western Michigan and Toledo.
