Nebraska football offensive lineman Rocco Spindler gives bold prediction for unit

Nebraska football right guard Rocco Spindler has high expectations for the offensive line unit. He told the assembled media on Thursday that he believes the unit is capable of winning the Joe Moore Award. The award itself is given to the best offensive line in the country.

The Huskers return several important pieces on the offensive line for the 2025 season. The light itself has collectively recorded 122 career starts across seven contributors. There are also some new faces, including Spindler. Elijah Pritchett figures to factor in on the offensive line as well, after coming over from the Alabama Crimson Tide.

No matter the lineup, Spindler has a ton of confidence in his teammates.

"I believe we can win the Joe Moore Award, and I believe we will."

This unit could have a chance to win the award, especially if every member stays healthy throughout the season. They have veteran experience, and a large portion of the line is familiar with offensive line coach Donovan Raiola. That could be a recipe for success for a unit seeking consistency.
