New York Jets players under the most pressure in 2025

The New York Jets are turn to a new chapter in 2025 under the watch of head coach Aaron Glenn.

While there is optimism surrounding the new head coach, it's up to the players on the field to perform.

Some need to show out more than others, but that creates pressure as well.

Here are Jets Wire's four players under the most pressure in 2025:

QB Justin Fields

Not so much relating to the Jets specifically, but Fields has tons of pressure on him heading into his first season in New York. It's a simple reason why.

Fields essentially is getting one last shot to be a starter with the Jets in 2025 and show he can get the job done. What will he do with that opportunity?

RB Breece Hall

Glenn and the front office made it clear that the Jets do not want to trade Hall before next season.

Even so, Hall's name was tossed in trade rumors. That will create pressure for him to perform after a subpar and injury-filled season in 2024.

CB Brandon Stephens

Stephens was signed this offseason to fill some big shoes.

DJ Reed departed the Jets as a free agent and Stephens is the one to replace him... on paper. The Jets are banking on Stephens' potential to shine as the cornerback across from Sauce Gardner will see plenty of passes thrown their way.

OL Armand Membou

Membou is a first-round rookie... but that comes with expectations.

He has been dubbed the final piece to complete the Jets' starting offensive line. But he'll have to prove he is and just being a top draft pick comes with added pressure as well.
