Nick Wright's Controversial Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese Take Sparks Heated Debate
Since the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark dominated Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 93-58, social media has been ablaze with hot takes about the two WNBA stars.
Clark fans have been happy with the fact that she put together a triple-double and asserted her dominance over Reese. On the flip side of things, Reese fans have been up in arms about the flagrant foul that Clark committed on her.
As has been the case over the last few years, the Clark vs. Reese debate remains very alive and well.
Nick Wright spoke out about the "rivalry" and shared some controversial words about the two players. He had a tough truth to share when it comes to Reese as well.
“Angel Reese needs to be better if we want this rivalry to have some staying power," he said. "Right now she is a wildly famous rebounder."

Following his take being put out publicly on X, fans started commenting aggressively in response.
"She also holds the role for the most double doubles, but all you see is rebounds," one fan wrote supporting Reese.
Another fan commented, "This comparison needs to stop… this is like Steph Curry vs Andre Drummond."
"Love what Nick said here, but I would add one thing. Caitlin doesn't like Angel because of her hate for her. Angel started it," a third fan said.
A fourth comment read, "Angel is a great defender also but hey yall don’t really watch games."
"There’s no rivalry it’s not even close," a fifth comment said.
This "rivalry" is just getting started. Clark and Reese are just now beginning their second WNBA season. It may be good for the league, but fans are going to continue getting more aggressive with their arguments on each side.
