😅 Njinmah was cheaper: fans react to Williams' new deal

The news came out of nowhere: Nico Williams will not be playing for Barça or Bayern next season, but will instead be staying with his current club, Athletic Bilbao. The extension until 2035 was a complete surprise. Reactions on 'X' quickly followed.

But who will Bayern sign now? Of course, there are already suggestions on the net.

Another user believes that Williams will still be sold.

Let’s be honest. Nico Williams is still going to be sold. #AFC— blane ardley (@_blaneardley) July 4, 2025

But what Williams plans to do next, nobody knows. Not even himself?

And how do Barça fans react?

FUN FACT; Nico Williams has 16 league goals in 5 seasons. pic.twitter.com/e1jpF2HCB5— JEY🥇 (@Mmonkoaa) July 4, 2025

And who could Barça sign now? Another player could at least benefit from Williams' extension.

Rashford prayers finally answered💯👏 pic.twitter.com/XcrxYkLIni— BigXuadz (@BigXuadz) July 4, 2025

Were Rashford's prayers answered?

Will Williams simply switch to Barça next season? What do you think? Write your opinion in the comments.
