In the next season, the Brazilian could even play in the Champions League with his new club. After the Cypriot champion defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv in the CL qualification, they will face Dynamo Kiev next week for a spot in the top tier.

Before his return to Europe, David Luiz was active in his home country of Brazil for a long time. A return to Europe was considered unlikely for a long time, with some even saying it was almost impossible.
