Noah Fant signs with the Cincinnati Bengals

Former Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant has finally found his next NFL home. After free agent visits with several other teams, Fant has settled on the Queen City of Cincinnati, and will be playing the 2025 season as a member of the Bengals. NFL insider Jordan Schultz first reported the news on Thursday morning.

Fant met with the Bengals on July 24th, one day after the Seahawks began their training camp. He drew interests from the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins, visiting both. Ultimately, it makes sense why Fant decided to stick with the Bengals out of the three options. Cincinnati easily has the best quarterback in Joe Burrow, and Fant will likely draw consistently favorable coverage given the almost unparalleled arsenal of weaponry at Burrow's disposal with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

In his career, Fant has caught 300 passes for 3,305 yards and 15 touchdowns. His production, with regards to finding the end zone, dropped precipitously over the past two years in Seattle - he only scored once during this span. However, given the Bengals' pass-first offense and the aforementioned elite teammates surrounding him, I will not be surprised if Fant has somewhat of a bounce back year in Cincinnati.
