Ohio State football coach Ryan Day is set to speak to the media at noon Sept. 23.

The Buckeyes won their in-state matchup against Ohio University 37-9 on Sept. 13. Though the Bobcats got within four points of Ohio State in the third quarter, Julian Sayin led the offense to 572 total yards of offense, including 347 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Jeremiah Smith finished with 153 receiving yards and two total touchdowns.

After a bye week for Week 4, Ohio State is on the road for Week 5 against Washington on Sept. 27. Washington football just handed its in-state rival Washington State a 59-24 loss to advance to a 3-0 record after nonconference play. Quarterback Demond Williams Jr. looked sharp, passing for 298 yards and four passing touchdowns while rushing for 88 yards and a score.
