Now that the preseason is over, the Oklahoma City have filled out their final roster spot. They have signed Chris Youngblood to their third two-way contract. He joins Branden Carlson and Brooks Barnhizer at the bottom of the depth chart.

This shouldn't be too surprising. Since Youngblood joined the Thunder, he's been a fan favorite. He went undrafted out of Alabama in the 2025 NBA draft. After that, he signed with OKC's Summer League squad and flexed his outside shooting.

Youngblood was added to the Thunder's training camp and preseason roster. He stood out in their six games. A 25-point outburst highlighted the past few weeks as he fought against a group of players for that final two-way spot.

Youngblood played in five college seasons from 2020-25. He had stops at Kennesaw State, USF and Alabama. The 23-year-old averaged 13.5 points on 45.1% shooting, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his collegiate career. He shot 39.3% from 3 on 5.6 attempts.

Expect Youngblood to be mostly with the G League's OKC Blue this upcoming season. As a reminder, two-way players have a 50-game NBA limit. Considering how much of a marathon the regular season is, he'll get his chances to play throughout the year for the Thunder.
