Oklahoma Sooners vs. Auburn Tigers: Kickoff time, broadcast set for Week 4

The Oklahoma Sooners' 2-0 start has them set up for a strong first half of the 2025 college football season. They'll play Temple this week and then have their first SEC showdown coming in Week 4. It'll be Oklahoma welcoming the Auburn Tigers to town in the return of former starting quarterback Jackson Arnold.

Barring an upset this week with Auburn hosting South Alabama and the Sooners traveling to take on Temple, the Week 4 contest will be a battle of undefeated top 25 squads.

The SEC announced the television schedule for Week 4, and the Oklahoma Sooners and Auburn Tigers will play at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.

The last time the two sides met, Oklahoma shocked the Tigers in Auburn. It was then true freshman quarterback Michael Hawkins, Jr.'s first start, and he opened things up with a 60-yard touchdown run. With the Sooners trailing 21-10 in the fourth quarter, Hawkins found former wide receiver J.J. Hester for a 60-yard completion to put the Sooners in scoring territory. Jovantae Barnes capped off the drive with a two-yard touchdown to pull the Sooners within five.

Then Kip Lewis made some of the magic happen with a pick-6 of Auburn quarterback Payton Thorne to give OU the lead and their first SEC win.

The Tigers and Arnold will be looking for a little redemption when they travel to Norman to face the Sooners. Auburn opened the season with a big road win over the Baylor Bears behind a strong rushing performance from Arnold. But they allowed Bears quarterback Sawyer Robertson to have a big game through the air, throwing for 419 yards and three touchdowns.

Oklahoma's looking for a better performance in SEC games than they had a year ago when they went 2-6. Their only two wins came against Auburn and Alabama. If OU wants to make a run for the College Football Playoff, the Sooners have to beat Auburn at home.
