Packers fans rush to praise Micah Parsons’ big day on social media

You don't have to know much about football or pressuring a quarterback to understand Micah Parsons is blessed with a game-changing skill set

But Green Bay Packers fans have been waiting impatiently for that elite talent to erupt.

You know, the first game where Parsons puts both the team and the opposing signal-caller on his back often.

It happened in Week 7 of the NFL season at Glendale, Arizona, in the Packers' sixth game. Parsons, who never had more than 2.5 sacks in an NFL game, finished with a career-high three sacks in a 27-23 victory over the Cardinals including one in the final seconds of the game to force a desperation and failed throw by Jacoby Brissett on fourth down.

And though the three sacks were at the top of the list of his day of dominant accomplishments, it was a rather long list. Parsons had 10 quarterback pressuers, four tackles for loss and hit Brissett five times.

The Packers were outplayed much of the afternoon, but Parsons' playmaking ability certainly gave them a chance to rally and get their first road win of the season.

Fans continue to send thank you cards to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for trading Parsons to the Packers and marveled at his impact on social media Oct. 19:
