Packers on the wrong end of NFL Moment of the Year in 2025
The Green Bay Packers did not have a winner during "NFL Honors" on Thursday night, but the team did find itself on the wrong end of a winning moment. The Chicago Bears' game-winning touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to D.J. Moore in overtime of Week 16 against the Packers won "NFL Moment of the Year" for 2025.
Moore caught the 46-yard touchdown pass to complete the comeback and send the Packers to their first of two crushing losses at Soldier Field to end the 2025 season. To get the game into overtime, the Bears had to recover an onside kick and convert fourth-and-goal late in the fourth quarter.
After turning the Packers over on downs to open overtime, Moore beat Keisean Nixon deep on a post, made the contested catch with Nixon on his back and scored the walk-off touchdown -- sending the Bears to an improbable 22-16 victory.
Here's Moore accepting the award from NFL Honors:
The award has been part of "NFL Honors" since 2011. The Packers previously won the award twice: in 2011 on Randall Cobb's 108-yard kickoff return touchdown, and in 2015 on Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary touchdown pass to Richard Rodgers -- the "Miracle in Motown" play.
