Patriots’ first-round draft pick finalized after Super Bowl loss to Seahawks
The New England Patriots’ season is over, reaching a disappointing end in Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks.
Losing 29-13 to the newly-crowned world champions, the team of head coach Mike Vrabel is now officially on to the offseason — one that will see the team further try to bolster a roster that already was good enough to secure a division championship and the first Super Bowl berth since February 2019.
One crucial part of building on that foundation is getting the NFL Draft right. While the full order throughout the seven rounds has yet to be established, we already know where the Patriots’ first-round pick will be located.

The Patriots’ extra fourth-round pick was acquired in a draft day trade with Kansas City last year. The sixth-rounder involving the Chiefs came courtesy of the trade that sent edge defender Joshua Uche to the AFC West. The other two sixth-rounders were acquired ahead of this year’s trade deadline in exchange for safety Kyle Dugger (to Pittsburgh) and defensive lineman Keion White (to San Francisco).
The 2026 NFL Draft will take place April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh.
