The youngster has done nothing but play at a high level during the 2025 campaign, and it's been very impressive to watch. If anybody had guessed that Crow-Armstrong would’ve been playing at an MVP-type level at this point in the season, many would’ve been surprised.
However, after some high praise as a prospect, he's truly started to figure it out.
While All-Star voting isn’t the end-all be-all, as fans vote for that, it shows what people around the league think of him. Crow-Armstrong wanted to acknowledge that and thanked Chicago fans and others around the league who have voted for him.
“That’s the coolest part about any of it, is I think that’s an indication of people just appreciating your play,” Crow-Armstrong said, per Marquee Sports Network. “I’m definitely proud of myself that I’m giving the fans a little bit better of around this year up to this point.”
The California native seems to have a great head on his shoulders, which will only be important for him as he continues to play at this type of level.
If he wants to be the player he aspires to be throughout his career, he needs to maintain this approach.
Chicago fans love him, and the feelings are mutual.
The Cubs have been dying for a homegrown star in recent years, and it looks like they might’ve found one.
