Pulaski and Somerset track teams take on Boyle County All-Comers

The Pulaski County Maroons and Somerset Briar Jumpers traveled to Boyle County to compete in their All-Comers meet on Tuesday evening. On the boys’ side, Somerset finished eighth and Pulaski placed 11th out of 16 teams. For the girls, Pulaski finished seventh and Somerset placed 14th out of 16 teams.

In the boys’ 100m dash, Pulaski’s Kasen Brock finished 21st with a time of 12.10. Other finishers included Pulaski’s Winston Ford in 24th with a time of 12.21 and Somerset’s Tristan Harrell in 119th with a time of 14.75.

In the boys’ 400m dash, Pulaski’s Chris Dezarn finished 16th with a time of 59.35 and Pulaski’s Bryson Mounce placed 21st with a time of 1:00.91.

In the boys’ 1600m, Pulaski’s Abel Super placed 29th with a time of 5:48.87. Other finishers included Somerset’s John Lackey in 38th with a time of 6:05.73 and Pulaski’s Canon Anderson in 42nd with a time of 6:28.22.

In the boys’ 4x100m relay, Pulaski’s team of Toby Wright, Austin Wilder, Brock and Ford finished sixth with a time of 47.60.

In the boys’ 4x200m relay, Somerset’s team of Jackson Burgess, Eli Eastham, Kris Hughes and Bryson Stone finished fifth with a time of 1:40.38, while Pulaski’s team of Jack Furr, Gage Andrus, Wright and Mounce finished eighth with a time of 1:42.10.

In the boys’ high jump, Stone finished sixth with a height of 5-8, while Pulaski’s Gunner Elmer finished 23rd.

In the boys’ long jump, Burgess finished in a tie for 10th with a distance of 17-7.5. Other finishers included Furr in 13th and Somerset’s Aiden Colyer in 26th.

In the boys’ triple jump, Burgess placed third with a distance of 39-6.25, while Colyer placed ninth.

In the pole vault, Andrus placed third with a height of 10-6, while Somerset’s Jonas Blakeman placed fourth.

In the boys’ shot put, Somerset’s Landen Lonesky finished 10th with a distance of 38-6. Other finishers included Pulaski’s Brody Johnson in 14th, Somerset’s Zach Koger in 27th, Pulaski’s Micheal Marcum in 37th, Pulaski’s Brayan Ramirez in 43rd and Pulaski’s Andrew Cash in 51st.

In the boys’ discus, Ramirez finished 16th with a distance of 86-2. Other finishers included Johnson in 19th, Marcum in 20th and Lonesky in 27th.

In the girls’ 100m dash, Pulaski’s Emma Coomer finished fifth with a time of 13.59. Other finishers included Pulaski’s Brooklynn Sandlin in seventh with a time of 13.87, Somerset’s Hannaha Boyer in 30th with a time of 15.06, Somerset’s Madilyn Brooks in 35th with a time of 15.17, Pulaski’s Malia Bullock in 38th with a time of 15.36 and Somerset’s Garrah Vanover in 81st with a time of 17.43.

In the girls’ 400m dash, Pulaski’s Hannah Murray finished 13th with a time of 1:10.27, while her teammate Maggie Bertram finished 22nd with a time of 1:12.38.

In the girls’ 1600m, Bertram finished fourth with a time of 5:59.55. Other finishers included Pulaski’s Gracey Ashton in 31st with a time of 7:04.70 and Pulaski’s Naomi Crockett in 35th with a time of 7:22.75.

In the girls’ 100m hurdles, Pulaski’s Elizabeth Adkins finished seventh with a time of 20.08, while Somerset’s Natalia Arnold finished 13th with a time of 21.57.

In the girls’ 300m hurdles, Arnold finished 16th with a time of 1:05.65.

In the girls’ 4x100m relay, Somerset’s team of Jaycee Cothron, Vanover, Brooks and Boyer finished fifth with a time of 58.92.

In the girls’ 4x200m relay, Pulaski’s team of Alyssa Salyer, Bullock, Sandlin and Coomer finished third with a time of 1:56.51, while Somerset’s team of Cothron, Arnold, Vanover and Boyer finished 12th with a time of 2:09.07.

In the girls’ long jump, Pulaski’s Maliyah Swinney finished third with a distance of 16-4.

In the girls’ triple jump, Swinney finished fifth with a distance of 31-6, while Cothron placed 13th.

In the girls’ discus, Pulaski’s Kendall Hodge placed 18th with a distance of 59-3.
