Raiders reportedly trade Geno Smith to Jets for draft pick, returning QB to franchise that drafted him
Geno Smith's NFL career has officially come full circle. Though it looked like Smith would be released by the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of the NFL Draft, the team found a different solution Tuesday, reportedly trading Smith to the New York Jets.
It's a reunion for Smith, who was originally drafted by the Jets with the No. 39 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
