Raiders Week 12 inactives vs Browns: 3rd round rookie to see first action
The main story with regard to the Raiders game against the Browns is about who will take the field. But there's also a story to be told about those who do not.
Among those who are inactive include LB Jamin Davis and DT Tonka Hemingway, both of whom played extensive minutes last week against the Cowboys.
Davis in particular got the start for the Raiders in his debut since being called up from the practice squad. Just a week later, the Raiders left him out of the game plan against the Browns.
Hemingway's 38 snaps (57%) were his highest total for the season. It was his fourth appearance. He too will now be in sideline sweats while fellow rookie JJ Pegues will be active.
Also active this week is guard Caleb Rogers, which means the third round rookie could make his NFL debut. The Raiders have been searching for answers in the wake of the injury to right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson. It's possible Rogers is part of the plan there.
This week the Raiders activated Aidan O'Connell from injured reserve. Mainly because his 21-day window was up, which meant either they had to activate him or sit him for the rest of the season. They activate him, but seeing as they have the option to stow him as their emergency third QB, they chose to do so.
And just for the heck of it, here's the Browns inactives as well.
