Rajasthan Royals' first pre-season camp starts March 15 in Jaipur
Rajasthan Royals will hold their first pre-season camp for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in Jaipur from March 15. With the ongoing T20 World Cup concluding on March 8, the full squad is expected to assemble gradually. All players will start arriving in the mid-second week of March, allowing the Jaipur camp to kick off as planned.
“The players will start arriving in the second week and camp will start from March 15 in Jaipur,” confirmed a source.
Earlier, a small pool of players, including Sandeep Sharma, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, and Ravi Bishnoi, had gathered at their High Performance Centre in Nagpur for a few warm-up sessions in February, as an initial phase to shake off the rust before the larger group convenes in Jaipur.
Meanwhile, government authorities are working tirelessly to upgrade the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in time for Royals' home matches.
“Work is progressing at a brisk pace across key areas. The stadium will be fully ready well before the Royals arrive for their IPL 2026 campaign,” said an official closely monitoring the developments at the venue.
