Rams LB Nate Landman sets franchise record vs. Ravens
The Los Angeles Rams took on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, and they walked away with a 17-3 win to move to 4-2 through the first six weeks of the season.
During the game, the Rams had one player who really popped off the screen, as linebacker Nate Landman was everywhere. Not only did he force a fumble, his second of the season, but he also recorded 17 tackles in the game.
That set a new franchise record for tackles by a Rams player, passing James Laurinaitis (2009), Alec Ogletree (2015) and Mark Barron (2015), who all recorded 16 in a single game.
Los Angeles signed Landman to a one-year, $1.1 million deal this offseason after the linebacker spent his first three seasons with the Falcons. He's proven to be a steal so far this year.
