Rams trying to schedule joint practice with Saints after Chargers had to cancel
The Los Angeles Rams were scheduled to practice with the Chargers this Wednesday but that scrimmage had to be canceled. Sean McVay told reporters after Saturday's win over the Dallas Cowboys that he talked to Jim Harbaugh and because of a growing list of injuries, the Chargers won't be able to practice with the Rams.
During his media session on Sunday, McVay provided an update on the Rams' plans for the coming week as they're attempting to find another team to practice with. McVay said the team is planning to practice with the New Orleans Saints instead, aiming to hold that scrimmage on Thursday to replace Wednesday's session with the Chargers.
McVay said it's "more likely than not" that the Rams and Saints will be able to work something out, though it sounds like it still has to be finalized first.

Coincidentally, the Saints actually practice at UC Irvine for training camp, which is where the Rams previously held their camp before moving to Loyola Marymount University.
As disappointing as it was for the Chargers practice to be canceled, it'll be good for the Rams to get in a day of work with the Saints on Thursday. They put a lot of value in joint practices so McVay will be pleased if the Rams and Saints can put this together.
