Rams vs. Bucs: Studs and duds from LA's blowout win vs. Tampa Bay

The Los Angeles Rams hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for a Week 12 showdown between two NFC division leaders, and Sean McVay's team earned a 34-7 win.

Los Angeles was dominant in all three phases of the game, as their offense was humming, their defense shut down both Baker Mayfield and Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback and new kicker Harrison Mevis made all of his kicks.

As we do after every game, let's take a look at some Rams who deserve more credit for their efforts against the Buccaneers, as well as some who will need to reflect after this one.

STUD: WR Davante Adams

Adams continued his incredible year on Sunday, catching five passes for 62 yards and two scores. He leads the NFL with 12 receiving touchdowns this season and is now just one behind former Chargers tight end Antonio Gates for the seventh most in NFL history.

DUD: CB Darious Williams

Williams probably isn't deserving of being on this list, but if we have to pick a defensive dud, it's going to be the cornerback who was in coverage for Tampa Bay's lone touchdown. He also surrendered the Buccaneers' longest play of the game, a 32-yard reception for wide receiver Emeka Egbuka.

STUD: CB Cobie Durant

Durant was the definition of a stud on Sunday night, as he made a touchdown-saving pass break-up on the very first drive of the night. Then, on the next defensive possession, he wrestled a pass away from Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown of his own.

DUD: TE Terrance Ferguson

Again, it's tough to find many duds after such a great win, but Ferguson was held without a catch on Sunday night, which was a little disappointing after Tyler Higbee was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.

STUD: EDGE Jared Verse

Verse finished this matchup with four tackles and two sacks, which now brings him to six on the season, surpassing his previous career-high of 4.5 that he set during his Defensive Rookie of the Year campaign in 2024.

STUD: DL Kobie Turner

Turner was highlighted on the broadcast for his musical abilities, and he showed just what he can do on the football field as well, as he recorded six tackles and two sacks.

STUD: QB Matthew Stafford

Stafford completed 71.4% of his passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns, becoming the first quarterback in recorded history to have 27 straight touchdown passes since his last interception. He also moved into third all-time in Rams history for passing touchdowns, surpassing Mark Brunell.
