Jackson joined Bayern Munich on a season long loan on deadline day last summer, but things haven’t gone to plan in Germany.

The Senegal international has played second fiddle to Harry Kane, and has scored five goals in 22 appearances in all competitions.

The loan deal contained an obligation to buy based on making a certain number of appearances, thought to be 40, which looks very unlikely to happen.

It’s been reported Jackson hasn’t ruled out staying at Chelsea next season, with all options said to be on the table.

Fabrizio Romano has stated clubs in Italy like Jackson, and Football London have reported the 24-year-old is attracting interest from clubs in Italy, Spain and England.

The report adds Jackson’s focus is on completing the season with Bayern and helping them win the Bundesliga and Champions League.

Chelsea currently have Joao Pedro and Liam Delap as their number nines, whilst Emmanuel Emegha will join from Strasbourg in the summer, so it’s hard to see where Jackson would fit if he wanted to return.

Chelsea have moved on from Senegal international?

Chelsea appear to have moved on from Jackson, and agreed a deal last year with Strasbourg for Dutch striker Emegha.

The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season under Liam Rosenior, and has signed a seven year contract at Stamford Bridge.
