Saint Andrew's football knocked out of playoffs in Miami
One of the best seasons in Saint Andrew's football history ended in lopsided fashion Thursday night at Tropical Park Stadium in Miami.
Saint Andrew's was blown out in the second half against True North Classical in a 62-28 loss on Nov. 20 in the second round of the Florida Class 1A high school football playoffs.
The Scots trailed 21-14 at halftime but the Titans piled up 41 points in a second-half avalanche.
Notre Dame commit Dylan Faison, the nation's No. 1 boys lacrosse recruit, scored two touchdowns in his final football game for Saint Andrew's. Boston College commit Wesley Winn and running back Remi DeOrsey also scored touchdowns for the Scots.
True North Classical (10-2) will face the winner of Chaminade-Madonna vs. Miami Edison in the Region 4-1A championship game.
Saint Andrew's closes the 2025 campaign with a 10-2 record, another feat in the program's renaissance under head coach Jimmy Robertson.
In 2023, Saint Andrew's won its first district championship since 1985. Last season, the Scots won the program's first regional playoff game since 1974.
The Scots won a district championship and regional playoff game in 2025 and enter the offseason with a 32-14 record under Robertson over the last four seasons.
