20’ — It’s ping-pong inside the Freiburg box which started from Lennart Karl’s bending shot. It ends with Kimmich’s left-footed shot getting saved by Atobulu.

19’ — Luis Diaz down, knocked down by Treu.

15’ — Philipp Treu finds himself in a prime place to score but misses the target.

12’ — Guerreiro accidentally blocks Tom Bischof’s shot, off a Josip Stanisic pass.

10’ — Serge Gnabry almost latches onto Raphael Guerreiro’s through ball, but Noah Atobulu rushes out and clears it.

5’ — Manuel Neuer’s slack pass gets intercepted by Freiburg players, but the shot is well wide of the mark.

Kickoff! — Auf geht’s!

Lineups are out! There’s a lot of rotation in this team; Vincent Kompany is obviously saving his best players for next week.

Freiburg’s starting XI:

Bayern Munich welcomed back its players from the international break and they’re (mostly) in one piece upon touching down in Munich. Save for Harry Kane’s absence, the Bavarians are at a decent level of strength heading into this match with SC Freiburg.

Freiburg sit nine points outside of the European spots but with a maximum of  27 points still up for grabs until the end of the season, they’re looking to win any points they can. There is a chance they could do something, as Bayern is saving up for their massive Champions League clash with Real Madrid in the quarter-finals next week, but the Rekordmeister isn’t willing to give away free points.
