Seahawks list 4 players as DOUBTFUL vs Saints

The Seattle Seahawks are going into their Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints a little shorthanded in the secondary... again. Ahead of Friday's practice, the Seahawks have already listed four players with gametime designations as DOUBTFUL.

The players are:

• S Julian Love
• S Nick Emmanwori
• CB Devon Witherspoon
• RB Zach Charbonnet

Charbonnet appearing as doubtful is not surprising, as he missed both Wednesday and Thursday's practice with a foot injury. Expect George Holani to take his place in the lineup should Charbonnet miss the game against the Saints. As for the secondary, having two of your top three safeties and your best corner out is brutal. Julian Love did manage to play last week, so there is hope, but with such a short turnaround before a critical division opponent in Week 4, the Seahawks would be wise to play it safe with these key players.

If Witherspoon is going to be OUT again, expect more strong play from Josh Jobe, who had a marvelous showing last week in Pittsburgh. Jobe kept DK Metcalf in check rather well.
