LSU baseball's 2025 transfer portal class ranks No. 12 nationally, per 64Analystics' updated rankings on Tuesday.

The Tigers added five transfers ranked in the top 250 among all portal players following the 2025 season. They are the ninth among SEC teams on the list. Six teams from the conference occupy seven of the top eight spots, led by Georgia.

After winning the national championship, head coach Jay Johnson took a relatively conservative approach to recruiting the portal. The Tigers' staff focused on addressing their immediate needs heading into the offseason, particularly pitching and infielders with talent at the plate.

With aces Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson off to the MLB along with hard-throwing reliever Chase Shores, LSU has significant pitching production to replace. Casan Evans will assume a role in the rotation

Three of LSU's four regular starting fielders also won't return, but Johnson wasted no time stocking up on experienced talent that will compete for time.
