Social media reacts to Georgia football's 35-14 win over Kentucky
The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Kentucky Wildcats for the 16th time in a row. Georgia's 35-14 win over Kentucky was a big bounce back performance for the Bulldogs.
Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton helped the Bulldogs convert on nine of 10 third down conversions. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 21-7 first half lead and controlled the game.
"I was excited about our guys getting a fast start today," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said after the game. "I think that was the goal. It's the goal every game, but to start early and start fast, I thought we had good energy on offense. I thought they had a good plan in terms of how to execute. Every time we play them, it's really physical. It was physical again."
Stockton scored three total touchdowns, but threw his first interception of the season. Stockton scored a pair of rushing touchdowns and earned his first SEC home game, as a starter.
"Gunner plays better when he gets a couple runs in and loosens up and feels good," Smart said.
