Steelers Day 3 mock draft update

Steelers Day 3 mock draft update

Three rounds of the 2025 NFL draft are in the books and everything is going according to plan for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team had two picks, not trades and got two high-level starters at two of their three biggest positions of need. The Steelers have four picks on the final day of the draft and here is our updated mock draft for those four picks.

Fourth round - QB Quinn Ewers - Texas

Shedeur Sanders comes off the board just before the Steelers go on the clock so they go with Ewers as a Plan B to get a developmental quarterback.

Fifth round - CB Zy Alexander - LSU

Alexander is a great zone corner with good length and should be a rotational starter.

Sixth round - OT Jalen Travis - Iowa State

Travis has prototypical size and strength and has definite starter potential based on his film.

Seventh round - WR Dont'e Thornton - Tennessee

Pittsburgh wraps up the draft by adding more speed on offense with Thornton who can pull the top off a secondary.
