Steelers injury updates: Will Jalen Ramsey play vs the Browns?
This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to take on the Cleveland Browns and are slowly getting back to full health. But not everything on the health front is good news. Just as the Steelers are getting back starting cornerback Joey Porter Jr. from a hamstring injury, they could be losing fellow starting cornerback Jalen Ramsey to a hamstring injury of his own.
Ramsey suffered a hamstring injury two weeks ago in the Steelers Week Four win over the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. Early in the week, head coach Mike Tomlin talked like Ramsey was working hard on his rehab and was holding out hope that Ramsey could go this week.
However, Ramsey has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday after warming up with the team both days. Unless he makes a miraculous turnaround and goes through a full workout on Friday, it's highly unlikely Tomlin will risk a more serious injury against the 1-4 Browns.
