Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers' x-ray results on injured wrist revealed
The Pittsburgh Steelers received an important update on 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers — who suffered an apparent wrist injury in the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
On Saturday, reports surfaced that Rodgers' x-rays revealed that he suffered a small fracture in his wrist. He is not expected to miss significant time, however, with more on his condition coming on Monday.
In the Week 11 win, Rodgers took a huge sack and was driven to the turf —likely injuring his wrist in the process. At the start of the second half, he was deemed questionable to return, and Mason Rudolph took over signal-caller duties.
Rudolph completed 12 out of 16 passes for 126 yards and one touchdown in the second half — with his next opportunity likely coming against the Chicago Bears in Week 12.
We at Steelers Wire are committed to providing injury updates such as Aaron Rodgers’ condition moving forward. We will keep you updated on his availability as more information surfaces, with Monday serving as the most recent time frame.
