Steph Curry Sparks Concern With Postgame Appearance Following Injury

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry exited Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a left hamstring strain, casting uncertainty over his availability for the remainder of the series.
His postgame appearance did little to ease concerns, as he walked from the locker room to the team bus with a "pronounced limp," per Tim Kawakami of The San Francisco Standard. Curry declined to speak with reporters.
Curry is expected to have an MRI on Wednesday, which will give the Warriors a better idea of when he can return.
Despite Curry's absence, the Warriors secured a 99-88 victory in Game 1, with Buddy Hield scoring 24 points, Jimmy Butler contributing 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Draymond Green adding 18 points.
The Warriors struck first in the series, grabbing a crucial road win to take an early lead. However, head coach Steve Kerr expressed doubt about Curry's availability for Game 2.
"We’re definitely game planning for him to not be available on Thursday," Kerr said. "We don’t know yet. With a hamstring, it’s hard to imagine that he would play Thursday."
Curry missed 12 games during the regular season, with the Warriors going 7-5 in his absence. But the two-time MVP's impact is irreplaceable. He's been Golden State's engine this postseason, leading the team with 24.0 points and 5.7 assists per game.
